How Do I Prepare for Portrait Day?
First and foremost, get plenty of rest the night before your photo shoot. Well rested people photograph better and are more likely to enjoy the experience. Professional hair styles and make up are not a requirement, but definitely recommended. A mirror will be provided, however please make sure to pack a comb, brush, and or make up for last minutes touch ups before you step in front of the camera. No particular attire is required, but please be mindful of your organization’s dress code and dress accordingly. Retouching will be minimal so it is VERY important you are happy with your look upon arrival.
What Can I Expect?
Pre-Registered Customers: Upon entry, someone will greet you and get you checked in. Once confirmed, you will be given a number. Once your number is called you (and your family) will be called up to take your photo(s). After which you will review all photos taken and give approval. Once approval is given you will be given a card with your images’ information. This info can be used if inquiries arise after the Portrait Session has ended, such as status requests.
Walk-in Customers: Upon entry, someone will greet you with a form to fill out. Once completed you will return the form to the desk and make payment for you and/or your entire family. See “How can I Pay?“ for accepted forms of payment. Once payment is received, you will be given a number. (NOTE: Customers who are pre-registered will be taken before walk-ins so it is HIGHLY recommended to Pre-register.) Once your number is called you (and your family) will be called up to take your photo(s). After which you will review all photos taken and give approval. Once approval is given you will be given a card with your images’ information. This info can be used if inquiries arise after the Portrait Session has ended, such as status requests.
How long will it take to get my image(s) back?
Processing time will take 4-8 weeks depending on size of the organization. If there are any delays the organization will be advised. For status requests, please click Contact Us located at the bottom of these page.
How will I receive my Images?
Envelopes containing a complimentary 8x10, a USB with all edits, and a print release will be delivered to the organization to be distributed by administration. The digital images will also be available at www.diamonddesignsphotos.com/churchgallery for a limited time. Galleries are password protected and can only be accessed by members of the same organization. Website and password will be located on the Information Card given at the portrait session. How do I purchase additional prints?
At this time, additional print options are not available, however every order will receive a USB with all edited images. Images on the USB can be taken/uploaded to any print shop to purchase additional prints. A copy of the print release will be included in your order envelope.
I do not like my images. How do I get a refund?
Diamond Designs Photography will make every attempt to find a resolution to the clients’ issue. However, due to cost of processing and delivering the images, no refunds will be issued. Clients will have the opportunity to review and approve photos prior to their session ending to avoid this problem. I pre-registered, but I missed portrait day. What do I do?
Customers who paid during pre-registration will have 90 days to reschedule a shoot with the same promotion. After the 90 days has lapsed, the amount paid will be an available credit on the customer’s account for an additional 9 months. Credits can be applied to any Event, Photo, or print packages scheduled within that time. If no action is taken within 12 months of the original portrait day, the credit will be forfeit and no refunds given. Supplies are purchased based on pre-registration numbers and cannot be returned.
